In the course of providing rehabilitation therapy at various healthcare facilities, James determined that the people he was caring for were mostly in poor health as a direct result of eating poor food choices that compromised nutritional value by aiding and abetting in bringing about obesity, diabetes, arterial disease, and cancer, joint degenerations etc.
To offset and combat the harmful side effects of processed foods and poor food choices, James began to promote and teach people that he came in contact with. To facilitate getting the message out, in 1999 he established and promoted wellness classes at many area healthcare facilities, and businesses in Chattanooga area in order to improve health and productivity of the workforce and decrease on the job injuries.
“Although minor low back or musculoskeletal injuries such as sprains or strains can occur on and off the job, it is evident, based on experience, facts and observations, that nearly 98% of all serious lower back injuries such as slipped or herniated discs are mainly the result of years of accumulated poor health habits and abusive lifestyle.”
