Jason Wright

Jason Wright, A.C.E., Sportsmetrics, PTT is a Sportsmetrics certified trainer who specializes in ACL prevention with an emphasis on sports specific/position specific training.  In addition to his sports specific certifications, he also is A.C.E. certified.  Jason compliments the Summit Physical Therapy staff by the depth of his understanding of very specific training modules for our physical therapy patients with a focus on return to play in a variety of sports. Jason is also a specialist with the Opto Jump which is a bio-mechanical device that delivers gait and jumping analysis with objective data ranging from contact time, flight time, symmetries in power output, acceleration, deceleration and eccentric and concentric strength.  This allows Jason, in conjunction with Summit Physical Therapy’s professional staff, to deliver cutting edge technology to our patient’s and athletes.

Over the years, Jason has had the pleasure of working with athletes of all ages and skill, ranging from middle school to the collegiate level. He has served as the strength and conditioning coach for Soddy Daisy Middle and High School and has been an assistant with the baseball programs as well. Jason currently handles the team conditioning for the volleyball, tennis and football teams at Soddy Daisy and Choo Choo City Volleyball Clubs 17-1 squads.

As a former Juco and NCAA Division II baseball player, Jason sustained numerous injuries as a result of improper strength and conditioning methods. Those struggles developed his strong desire to educate coaches, parents, and athletes on the foundation of youth athletic development so that young athletes may succeed, uninhibited by injury.
